Manaslu circuit trekking is an adventure and less crowded then other classical trekking in Nepal. Manaslu offers truly remote adventure trekking. Since 2010 Manaslu offering Teahouses trekking for the trekkers. The trekking start after 5 hours’ drive from Kathmandu to Arughat and passes through the beautiful forest, landscape, epic scenery, spectacular suspension bridge, 5100 meters Himalayan passes and ancient monasteries. The trek goes around the stunning Mt. Manaslu, the 8th world highest mountain in the world. The trail crosses the local Tibetan influences villages and diverse cultures.

Why Manaslu Circuit Trekking?

  • It is less crowded than other trekking like Everest and Annapurna Trekking.
  • The Trek is remote and wild, yet there are teahouses for every day. So you don’t need to carry tent and foods, making it more accessible.
  • The trail is accessible by road, avoiding the domestic flight.
  • The first parts of the  trail follows Budigandaki River, deep, long gorge, with many suspension bridges.
  • You will start from the lower elevation where you will get subtropical jungle and cross cold and challenging Larkya La Pass above 5100 meters, 17000 feets.

Getting to Manaslu !

Manaslu circuit trek start after an adventure drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola about 129 Km which takes 6 hours drive by jeep. If the road is challenging which is often happen in Monsoon season due to heavy rainfall, you have to walk from Arughat, which add you an extra day. Required permits !

The Manaslu trekking is within restricted area of Nepal, Meaning you will need a special trekking permit to access the trekking route. Also single trekkers are not allowed where a minimum group size of two people is required.

Accommodation and foods during the trek !

Since 2010 tea houses trekking is operating I Manaslu circuit trekking. Each day you will staying in a local tea houses which are run by local communities. Regarding the foods they offer various foods like momo, Dal bhat,  Pasta, Spaghetti, pizza and etc.

Day 5: Trek from Maccha Khola to Jagat Jagat – 1370m

Day 6: Trek from Jagat to Philim Philim – 1570m

Day 7: Trek from Philim to Deng Deng – 1865m

Day 8: Trek from Deng to Ghap Ghap – 2165m

Day 9: Trek from Ghap to Lho – 3180m

Day 10: Trek from Lho to Sama Gaon/Ro Sama Gaon – 3525m

Day 11: Acclimatization Day in Sama Gaon – 3525m
