Chisapani Nagarkot trek is a short and easy 3 days tea house trekking in Nepal. This trek is designed for those travelers, who would like to taste local culture and natural beauty of Nepal with a short time frame. The trekking start from Sundarijal after 45 minute driving from Kathmandu. You will walk through Shivapuri National Park and cross big watershed that provide 40 percent water supply in Kathmandu. The trekking to Chispani Nagarkot offers beautiful nature and village walk experience, natural environment, stunning Himalayan view such as Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal and even Mt. Everest in far distance.

Short distance Chisapani to Nagarkot Trek

Your first destination is Chisapani after walking about 4-5 hours from Sundarijal. Chisapani mean “the cold water” in Nepali where you will enjoy real boon of nature being away from crowded city of Kathmandu. Walking through green forest and hearing the birds chirping to Lapsi phadi is an another memorable excursion.

We will have lunch at Jule or Chauki Bhanjyang after 3 hours walking from Chisapani then you will hike continues to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is also a beautiful village full of standerd hotels Lodges, and resorts. An early morning sunrise views from Nagarkot with the reflection of white Himalayas is most fascinating. Located at The Elevation of 2200 meters from sea level Nagarkot offers the superb views of mountains as well as Kathmandu valley. Along this Chisapani Nagarkot trek, you will visit Changunarayan Temple, one of the oldest Hindu Temple in Nepal, which offers some religious practices of Nepali people. And all the way back you will visit medieval ancient town Bhaktapur which is lifetime experience for sure.

Day

Drive to Sundarijal then trek to Chisapani:- Today after breakfast at hotel you will drive to Sundari and start your trekking to Chisapani which takes around 4 to 5 hours. You will walk throuth Shivapuri National Park. You will cross Mulkharka with Tamang habitants with uniques settlement. Our route heads down the ridge through a forest of oak and rhododendron to Chisopani (2300m).

Day

Chisapani to Nagarkot:- Today, we will trek from Chisapani to Nagarkot which takes about six hours. You will have lunch in Chauki Bhanjyang after 3 hours walking from Chisapani then you will hike continues to Nagarkot.

Day

Drive back to Kathmandu by private vehicle:- Get up an early morning you will have great views of sunrise with reflection of white Himalayas. After enjoying the views you will have breakfast in your hotel then drive to Changunarayan Temple, one of the oldest Hindu Temple in Nepal, which offers some religious practices of Nepali people. And all the way back you will visit medieval ancient town Bhaktapur which is lifetime experience for sure.
