Day

Arrival at Kathmandu.
You will be welcomed by our staff holding PLA card with your name on it. You then will be taken to hotel by a private vehicle. There will be small meeting at evening about the trip.

Day

Kathmandu Sightseeing
Exploring some of the landmarks which are considered as World Heritage Sites which includes various stupas and temples like Boudhanath and Pashupatinath temple. Exploring the areas of Durbar Square with its richness in carving on stones, woods and artistic architecture. These place will take you back to medieval period in Kathmandu valley.

Day

Flight to Pokhara.
After breakfast at hotel you will fly to Pokhara. By flight it takes about 25-30 minutes. Rest of the time you will be hanging around Lake Side and enjoy boating experience in beautiful Phewa Lake. Later at evening you will be visiting peace pagoda located at hilltop.

Day

Early morning Sarangkot visit and Pokhara Sightseeing.
Today you will visiting Sarangkot and see the mystical views of Annapurna mountain range, Macchapuchree, Himchuli, Manaslu and many other mountain. You could also watch sun rise as well. After few hours of beautiful Sarangkot, you will return to hotel for breakfast and rest for a while. After that we will go for a sightseeing Mahendra cave, Seti River valley, Barahi temple, Mountain museum and others. Be prepared you could also extend your tour after visiting mountain museum.

Day

Drive to Ghandruk
After breakfast we will move towards the beauty of Ghandruk. The drive is adventure in itself as it takes about 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours is full off road. You could do few hours hike at Ghandruk.

Day

Fly to mountain / Drive to Pokhara afternoon 3:30 PM fly back Kathmandu
Plan A: You will have a helicopter pick up at one of the local spots. We do have perfect helicopter landing spots but this is for experience. The helicopter ride will hover around Annapurna and land at Mardi high camp. You will have 20 minutes stop at high camp. Rest of the time you can chill around streets of lakeside and visit some popular place like Begnas Lake.

Plan B: After breakfast at Ghandruk our jeep will pick up and drive to Pokhara and have sightseeing of Pokhara.

After lunch at Pokhara drive to airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Flight it takes about 25-30 minutes. Later in the evening there will farewell dinner in typical Nepali Restaurant with some appealing and appetizing Nepalese cuisine.

Final departure.
One of the staffs will drop you at airport for a final departure for your way back home safely.

Will somebody come to pick me up at the airport upon my arrival?

Yes, Global Holidays Adventure representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall. He will be displaying Global Holidays Adventure name card with your name on it. After that you will be transferred to pre-chosen Hotel.

What is the Visa procedure and Visa cost? Should we apply for the visa from our home country or will get it in Nepalese Airport? What essential documents should I bring with me?

For most of the country there is a facility of visa on arrival. After landing you need to fill up form and do some formalities. You can also fill form online which is recommended. (http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa).

The cost of visa at present is $30 for 15 days, $50 for 30 days and $125 for 90 days.

You should bring following essential documents in the trip:

Valid Passport: must be valid for up to 6 months.
Travel insurance: you need to provide a copy of insurance paper to Global Holidays Adventure before you start the trek.

What sort of food can I expect in the tour?

Well there are plenty of restaurant offering variety of cuisines. Chinese, Continental and even Middle Eastern cuisines. Lastly breakfast is available at hotel for you guys. During the ghandruk stay there are no choice of continental foods. The guesthouse will offer local menu whe you can Make your choice from limited items.

What sort of transportation you use?

Depending on the group size we use Private cars, minibus, van, land cruiser. These small light vehicles are more maneuverable and flexible enabling us to take you through the Narrow roads of Nepal.

What is the best season for this trip?

Spring (March to May) and Autumn (Sept. to Dec.) are the best seasons for this trip when the weather is clear and pleasant. However, if one wishes to avoid crowd and enjoy nature then this trip is favorable during the winters (Dec to Feb) as well.

What is the temperature like?

It is all depending on what time of year you are traveling; during winter (Mid December to February), it gets colder at night and warmer during the day. The temperature could be as high as 22 deg C during day and 4 deg C low early in the morning and at night.

From March to May it is warm and sometimes a bit hot and weather stay perfect. The average temperature during this time of year is 25 deg C.

During the months of September to early December it is always warmer providing the perfect time to travel. The average temperature during this time of year is 20 deg C.

You will be in air-conditioned vehicles during the tour and all hotels are fully air conditioned.
