Holi Festival is one of the enjoyable and carefree festival in Nepal. It is the Festival of color to celebrate the triumph of God over Devil. Powder colors are painted on each other faces and colorful water is splashed from buckets and balloons, in general, it is the act of playing holy.
People start playing Holi from the early morning. You never know when water gets poured on your body or you will get splashed by water balloons. So keep an eye on the windows and rooftops of the tall houses. The streets are full of crowds and some live music and programs being held in the park. After spending our morning dwelling in the streets, we will enter into one of the major events of the day either live concert, pool party or other entertainment program.

Arrival at Kathmandu.
You will be welcomed by our staff standing with your name-card in the airport arrival terminal and transferred to your hotel by the private vehicle. There will be a dinner program in one of the Nepalese restaurants with typical Nepalese cuisine. There will be a small meeting about the trip in the evening.

Day Kathmandu Sightseeing.
Today after breakfast you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple’ Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it you will visit the medieval palaces of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal.

Holi Festival celebration in Kathmandu, overnight at Hotel on BB basis.
Early in the morning, after our breakfast we start strolling in the streets of Thamel, play with color powders, colouful water and water balloons. After our lunch, we enter into one of the high profile live concerts, pool party or any other entertainment programs. We enjoy rest of the day playing colors, dancing and of course clinging beers with our companions.

Drive or Fly to Pokhara - 6/7 hrs driving.
After breakfast at hotel you will drive or Fly to Pokhara. By driving it takes about 6 to 7 hours and by flight it takes about 45 minutes. Rest of the time you will visit Phewa Lake and boating around there.

Morning Visit Sarangkot and day Pokhara Sightseeing.
Today is most important day of you tour because you are going to Sarangkot, a major view point to see the Himalayas. Early morning you will drive to Sarangkot to view the magnificent view of the Annapurna range, Machhepuchhre, Himchuli, Manaslu and many others. After spending couple of hours in Sarangkot you will get back to Hotel for Breakfast. After some rest you will have sightseeing around Pokhara. You will visit Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Mahendra Cave, Seti River Gorge, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum, World Peace Pagoda etc. which are most popular spots.

Drive or Fly Back to Kathmandu.
After breakfast you will drive to Kathmandu which is 156 Kms and it can take 5/6 hours. You will also have a flight option which will take about 20 minutes. Evening Farewell dinner in typical Nepali Restaurant with cultural dance show.
