Dhaulagiri, dazzling White Mountain as the name says, is the seventh highest peak of the world standing at the height of 8167m from the sea level. Dhaulagiri region, separated from the Annapurna region in the east by the world’s deepest Kaligandaki George includes more than 12 peaks above 7000m: Dhaulagiri massif, Churen Himal (7321m), Putha Himal (7246m), Gurja Himal (7193m) and many more. The region hosts other various glacial streams, swift rivers and amazingly hidden valleys. Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve, rich in various forest and wildlife resources, falls in the same region.
