Global Holidays Adventure offers traditional Hindu wedding ceremony in Nepal for the couple interested to start their life together in a Nepali typical fashion. Following your query, within your choice of time, Nepali astrologers will fix your marriage date according to the position of the stars. We arrange both typical rural or a Luxury venue according to your choice.
On the day of the ceremony, groom is dressed in a nepali traditional dress i.e. ‘Daura suruwal’ with ‘Tika’ in the forehead, flower and dubo grass garland in the neck and ‘Khukuri’ in the waist. Furthermore, the bride is dressed in red coloured saari-cholo, chura-tika, and is decorated with golden ornaments and precious gems. The groom accompanied by Jantis (groom’s relative, friends and well wishers) go to the marriage venue dancing in the soothing music from Panche Baaja (typical Nepali musical instrument). The bride and groom sit nearby the sacred fire and follow enchants of Pundit (Holy Priest). The whole ritual goes according to Holy Vedas. The priest ties two white clothes making a knot (lagan Gatho). The knot resembles a lifelong relationship, and the couple goes around the sacred for seven times promising to support each others in every steps of life. The groom and bride puts nepali wedding garland or flower garland to one another. The purifying quality of the grass offers everlasting love and relationship.

The Wedding Day
This is the wedding day. All the necessary arrangements for the wedding ceremony in Nepal as planned earlier will be organised by Global Holidays Adventure. The venue, dresses, foods and drinks, vehicles, music, priest and everything will be arranged as promised earlier. The ceremony is 4-5 hours long. And after that, You will be transferred to your hotel.

Mountain Flight and Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
After an early breakfast the newly wedded couple will enjoy one hour mountain flight, you will see various highest mountains of Nepal including the Everest. Today after your lunch, you will start a guided tour to several of the most historical and spiritual attractions in Kathmandu. Some of these landmarks are considered World Heritage Sites; including the, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, the famous 'Monkey Temple’ Swayambunath and Buddhists shrine of Bouddhanath which is one of the largest Stupas in the world. Along with it you will visit the medieval palaces of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur, these palaces are rich in stone and wood sculptures glorifying the rich artistic history of ancient Nepal.

Fly to Pokhara.
You will take an early 25 min. flight to reach beautiful city of Pokhara. We will do boating in Phewa lake and visit the peace pagoda in the evening.

Sightseeing in Pokhara: (Best for family tour in Nepal)
There are other various attractions in Pokhara(tips:you can make plan to Upper Mustang from Pokhara). In the early morning, we visit to Sarangkot to enjoy the scenic sunrise view from the backyard of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchre and various other snowcapped peaks. In the daytime we will visit Davis fall, Begnas Lake and several caves in Pokhara.

Fly Back to Kathmandu:
