Kailash Mansarovar Tour is a highly significant tour for the pilgrims and travelers of various types. Along with its religious significance, the place is satisfyingly beautiful. The remoteness of the Tibetan land is decorated by the dominating view of Mt. Kailash and turquoise Mansarovar Lake. Global Holidays Adventure offers a high quality service to fulfill your spiritual quest. In addition to that, you will experience the wonders of the ancient Holy city of Lhasa, the forbidden land famous for ancient religion, pristine culture, gilt-roofed temples, intricately decorated monasteries and several other amazing arts and artifacts. You will fly to Lhasa from where you drive to Mansarovar and return via same route.

Mt. Kailash and Mansarovar Lakes are holy destinations for four different religions Hindus, Jain, Buddhist and Bon. For Hindus, it is the place where Lord Shiva is perpetually stays with his wife Parvati. It is believed that all sins are cleansed on the pilgrimage tour to Mansarovar. In Jainism, Lake Manasarovar is associated with the first Tirthankara, Rishabha. For Buddhist and Bons, the place is where their great Gurus meditated.

If you tour to Mount Kailash during the month of May, it gives you the opportunity to experience Buddhist festival of Saga Dawa while most of the other trips are planned to arrive at Mt. Kailash during the full moon period to give all participants a rare experience. A journey you can truly call as once-in-a-lifetime.

TREK, SHIVASTHAL - GAURIKUNDA (5620 m) - ZUTULPHUK
Today is the toughest, longest and the most exciting day of this spiritual journey. We have to walk for at least 8 to 9 hours to reach our destination, Zutulphuk. Right from Deraphuk, the trail rapidly goes up to Shivasthal taking snaky zigzag shape. Shivasthal is the place where Tibetans offer things (foods, clothes, alcohol etc.) to deceased souls of their family members/friends/relatives. It is believed that if things are offered here, dead souls will receive them in heaven. Also, the trail to inner Parikram route forks from here.

From Shivasthal, the trail is mild ascend till we reach Dolma pass (5620 m.). We advise all our Yatri’s (clients) not to spend more than 15 – 20 minutes in Drolma pass for any rituals or Pooja. From Dolma pass, we trek a few steps down to reach Gaurikunda. The trail passes by this auspicious lake. From this point on, the path rapidly descends till we reach the valley floor.

The last leg of the journey follows along the River Bank till we reach Zutulphuk. Zhutulphuk has a few small houses where there is no choice of Guesthouse.

- Overnight Norpel Guesthouse or Monastery guesthouse (Mud house) – dormitory.
- Dhiraphuk to Zutulphuk- 22 km | 8 to 9 hrs.
- Elevation of Dhiraphuk- 4720 m. | 15482 ft.
