Explore three beautiful different countries in one trip. Our 10 Days Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan tour begins with the cultural heritage sightseeing of Kathmandu and Nagarkot Sunrise tour. After 3 nights in Nepal your Tibet Visa will prepared and you fly to Lhasa. You will visit the main highlights Lhasa including Potala Palace, summer palace of the Dalai Lama, Norbulingka, Jokhang temple, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and many more.

After 3 nights in Lhasa you will back to Kathmandu where your Bhutan Visa is ready. The land of Thunder Dragon, Bhutan offers you unique culture and nature. During this short visit you will explore Thimphu and Paro including Tigernest monastery, 20th century built Memorial Chorten as a memorial for the third King of the country, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, who is widely regarded as the father of modern Bhutan and other hightlights of Paro and Thimphu.

We designed this itinerary for those travelers who have very short time and want to explore three country in a single trip. If you have more days in your trip then you can expand your itinerary in country like in Nepal you can add Pokhara and Chitwan tour, in Tibet you can visit Everest base camp or Namtso lake and in Bhutan you can expand Punkha, Gangtey etc.

Day

Arrival at Tribhuwan International airport (Kathmandu).
Our Global Holidays Adventure's airport representative meets you and transfer you to hotel by the private vehicle.

Day

Kathmandu Cultural & Heritage Sightseeing Tour.
Today after breakfast, you will have guided cultural, heritage & religious sight seeing tour (Pashupatinath, Buddhanath, & Swyambhunath). If you wish to do 1-hour Everest Scenery flight then can do early in the morning as well which cost is US $. 202.00 each person.

Day

Nagarkot, Bhaktapur and Patan Durbar square sightseeing day.
Morning after breakfast, you will drive to Nagarkot for the view of Himalayas as well countryside villages near Kathmandu. Then you will visit Bhaktapur & Patan Durbar Square.

Day

Transfer to airport and fly to Lhasa.
After break at hotel you will transfer to Kathmandu airport for Lhasa flight. Our airport representative meets you in Lhasa airport and drive 1 hour to the Hotel. Full rest for acclimatization.

Day

Full day Lhasa sightseeing tour.
After breakfast, your experienced guide accompanies you to the famous monasteries of Tibet. On your awe-inspiring visit to Sera Monastery, you are introduced to the important aspects of Buddhism. After lunch, you once again continue exploring Tibetan ancient cultures and civilizations as you pay a visit to Norbulingka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Jokhang temple provides yet another exciting and educative tour. Wandering around Barkhor Markets is another major highlight of the day. Finally, you head back to your hotel for relaxation and refreshments.

Day

Full day Lhasa sightseeing tour.
After breakfast, you will set off to view majestic Potala Palace towering above city of Lhasa. You get to witness unique, pristine and overwhelming array of intricate Tibetan murals, temples, stupas, and tombs of eight past Dalai Lamas from a perfect vantage point. Ancient Tibetan cultures come alive with your every exploration. Later in the noon after lunch, you will visit beautifully landscaped Drepung Monastery. You can observe nuns and monks chanting and performing religious discourses.

Day

Drive to airport and fly back to Kathmandu.
After breakfast you will drive 2 hours to Gonggar Airport, then you will have 1.5 hours wonderful flight to Kathmandu. You will pick up from airport and transfer to Hotel.

Day

Arrive at Paro Airport and drive to the capital city Thimpu. (1 hour 30 minutes’ drive).
A scenic flight to Paro offres amazing Himalayan peaks including Mt. Everest. Our representative will receive you in the Airport terminal. From there enjoying various sight-seeing places, we drive to the capital city of Thimpu. Kuenselcholing View Point is a place from where you can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley from the Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang). It is again a short drive from the town. You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. The next destination is 20th century built Memorial Chorten as a memorial for the third King of the country, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, who is widely regarded as the father of modern Bhutan. Finally, we visit 17th century fortress known as Tashichho Dzong. It houses the secretariat building, the throne room and the office of the king, and the central monk then drive to hotel.

Day

After breakfast, retrace your drive back to Paro. In Paro visit Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang) and Farm House, National Museum.
Morning hike to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s nest): This is Bhutan’s most recognizable cultural icon perched 800m/2640ft up a seemingly sheer cliff. (Five hours hike to and from, some gentle and some steep hike, some stony foot path and some good ones) If you ride a horse upward it will cost extra US$25 per person. It is optional as tour can be done as per your requirement instead of hiking.

Visit Farmhouse: Eating, taking bath and staying for a night at a local farmhouse gives a different variation, and a chance to see the inside of such a home, rather than just the brightly decorated exteriors. If you take hot stone bath and eat in the farmhouse it will cost extra US$25 per person. Evening explore the local market.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes, Global Holidays Adventure representative will be there to greet you outside of Terminal Hall of Kathmandu Airport, Lhasa airport and Paro airport according to your flight schedule. He will be displaying Global Holidays Adventure name card with your name on it. After that you will be transferred to pre-chosen Hotel.


Normally you will get Nepal visa on arrival after landing in Kathmandu airport and regarding Tibet and Bhutan visa we Global Holidays Adventure will obtain for you.

Nepal Visa:-
You can get the visa at Tribhuwan International Airport after landing, furthermore it will be easier if you fill up the visa form by online (http://online.nepalimmigration.gov.np/tourist-visa) before taking the flight to Nepal. Entry Visa fees- at present is $ 25 for 15 days, $ 40 for 30 days and $ 100 for three month visa on entry to Nepal.

Essential documents in the trip:

  • Valid Passport: must be valid for up to 6 months.
  • Travel insurance: you need to provide a copy of insurance paper to Global Holidays Adventure before you start the trek.
  • Flight Tickets.
  • Emergency contact numbers for T/C's bank, insurance, family contacts.

Require document for Tibet visa /Permit:-

  • At least six month valid clear scan copy of your passport before 20 days by email.
  • Orginal passport before 3 to 3 days of departure.
  • 2 PP size photo with white background.
  • Chinese visa copy by email (For those travelers who are entering Tibet from mainland China)
    You have to fill up a form Chinese Embassy Kathmandu with your latest passport size of a picture. For those who are Travelling from Nepal. Global Holidays Adventure will manage it).

Require document for Bhutan Visa:

  • At least six month valid clear scan copy of your passport.


Pack list is depends on the season of travel in for this tour. Except for summer warm clothing like down jackets, and sweaters are recommended and for summer cottons and lightweight woolens clothes are better.


September to November is the ideal time to visit Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan as the weather is clear and fresh with sunny skies. January and February is clod after then march to May is the climate remains dry and pleasant and end of the spring rhododendron bloom spectacularly and flooding the hills with varieties of colors. May to june is little hot and high humidity, from June from September the monsoon rain covers the mountains in Nepal and Bhutan side.
