One day kathmandu tour takes to you UNESCO World Heritage site of Kathmandu valley. This day tour includes Hindu pilgrimage sites, Buddhist sites, Cultural and heritage sites of Kathmandu valley.
Start your day from your hotel by private tourist vehicle, your first stop will be Basantapur Durbar Square. Build in 16th century, it is the former residence of Royal Kings of Nepal which is spread in five acres of areas. The Living God Kumari, Heritage museum, the architecture of palace, wooden crafted windows and doors of temple and palace are some of the main highlights of Basantapur Durbar square.
Afterward, your tour takes you to Swayambhunath also called monkey Temple, located at the hill towards the west of Kathmandu. This is a Buddhist stupa where the area is full of hanging prayer flags and rotating prayer wheels with monks. A part from the religious significant Swayambhu hill is also a best view point for Kathmandu valley.
After explore Monkey Temple you will drive to Pashupathinath Temple (Hindu sign). Build in 17th century the temple is dedicated to God Shiva.
