Dhampus Sarangkot trek is an easy and short hiking near Pokhara. Dhampus and sarangkot trail passess through countryside inhabited by a wide diversity of people and offers the splended sunrise and sunset view over the Himalayas of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri region. Dhampus Sarangkot Trek is a good choice to extend your trip from Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan Jungle Safari. This short trek give experience of typical trekking in Nepal. This trekking suited for those who are looking short trek, family with children or people looking for easy trekking.
Sarangkot Dhampus with a day drive from kathmandu to Pokhara. We start trek from Sarangkot Phadi after a short drive from Pokhara. Sarangkot is enchanting views of Pokhara valley and Phewa Lake and surrounding mountain views. Dhampus village is settled by Gurung tribe. "Gurung" are the Gurkha soldiers in the British, Indian, and Nepalese Army. After retirement, they are Shepherds and farmers in their birthplace.

Fly to Pokhara.

After breakfast at hotel you will drive to Kathmandu airport and fly to Pokhara. You will check to your hotel and after refresh you will visit the Pokhara visit. You will explore Davis fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev cave, International Mountain Museum and evening explore lake side.

Drive to Phadi and trek to Dhampus.

After breakfast at loadge you will start to hike passes via rice paddies, awesome hills, landscapes and beautiful views of Himalayan range. Sarangkot is one of the best sunrise and sunset point where you can see the glorious views of Annapurna (8,091m.), Dhaulagiri (8,167m.), Ganesh Himal (7,446m.), Manaslu (8,165m.), Machhapuchhre (6,993m.) and splended views of Pokhara city.

Trek to Bank of Phewa lake 2/3hrs Trek & half days Pokhara city sightseeing.

Early in the morning see the glorious views of sunrise in Sarangkot with beautiful himalayas and trek down to Pokhara on the bank of Phewa Lake. We cross Phewa Lake by boating and visit David fall, Mahendra cave and International Mountain musium and transfer to hotel.
